Serving Those Inside and Outside the Church.
Gospel-Centered Service
Making Much of Christ Ministries exists to produce and distribute gospel-centered resources that help people celebrate life's victories, endure life's tragedies, navigate life's complexities, while trusting in God's providence to restore all things broken. We are prayerful that God might send us imperfect...yet passionate individuals who aspire to utilize their gifts and talents towards these purposes. We’re hoping you are one of those people. Please consider one of the opportunities below!
Content AuthorOur content authors contribute to causes of Christ by regularly writing gospel-centered blogs, articles, bible lessons, and so much more. CA's may also contribute their writing skills to supplement other creative projects across the web and our social media platforms.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are there age requirements and/or other conditions required to be a part of this organization?
Yes. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to contribute as a team member of Making Much of Christ Ministries. Applicants must be professing Christians who actively follow after Christ in mind, body, and spirit. All applicants must sign our statement of faith and character qualifications code of conduct. (Information regarding each of these requirements are located on this page under “Next Step Forms”) Finally, all applicants are required to provide two spiritual references with their application. If brought onto our team, each respective member of our team will need to write a spiritual life story for their bio page.
I’m in high school and I’m really passionate about God. I would love to join the team. Is there any way I could join the team?
Yes, applicants as young as 13 years of age may potentially be brought on as active members of our team. For this to be possible, a parental consent form as well as one additional spiritual letter of recommendation are required. This letter should be from a spiritual leader/influencer in your life that can detail your unique maturity and readiness for the respective position you are applying for. Finally, underage applicants must be approved by our entire team with 100% confidence vote. (remember, we just desire to set you up for success, nothing more nothing less!)
If I decide to apply and I’m approved to join the organization, how long is my commitment?
All positions operate on a six month commitment term. We ask all team members to faithfully finish what they start. However, if something arises that makes this not possible, we require a 45 day notice of your transition out of organization. This helps us to actively work to find your replacement.
What type of time commitment should I expect?
Each position varies regarding time commitments. Instead of hourly commitments think project-based. Each team member is given various projects to work on with more than enough time to complete them before the deadline. For example, a content author may have a 60 day deadline to produce two gospel center resources, a content editor may have a two-week deadline to edit a gospel-centered resource, or a brand ambassador may be issued a certain quota to meet by the end of our working quarterly calendar schedule.
Can I serve from home? Are there any in-person requirements?
We are a 100% online ministry presence. We collaborate primarily by phone, Skype, and email. Though our physical office is located in Beaverton, Oregon, most of our team members work from home across multiple states. This flexibility allows you to contribute wherever you are and on your own schedule; making our ministry unique and doable!
Are any of your positions paid?
At this time, our positions operate on a volunteer contract basis. Beginning March of 2018, certain positions will receive creative periodic compensation packages as a gift/gesture of our gratitude for your service.
If my role isn't working for me; should I step down?
That is a great question! Our answer is first communicate. In our experience, most issues that arise are solvable with excellent communication. Secondly, be extenders of grace. Because our organization primarily works through email and telephone, we desire to work with individuals to extend extra grace towards each other. Nothing can replace human touch. Strive to over communicate when possible and exercise patient when frustration arises. It is not out of the norm to feel a bit lost in the shuffle or disconnected. We pride ourselves on creating an amazing team atmosphere to navigate these complexities. More than anything, we want you to succeed. When you succeed, we succeed! However, if you must relinquish your position, we ask that you give us a minimum 45 day notice to properly transition you out gracefully.
Is there anything else I should know?
Don't overthink it. Sometimes we can over process our decisions to the point where we paralyze ourselves from what God may be attempting to do through us! Take a moment…count the cost…but more importantly, imagine the impact for God's kingdom! We're hoping you jump in with 2 feet today!
